What are the best article submission directories? Good question, and to be honest – the answer I’m going to give you may or may not surprise you.
Personally, I believe there is only one decent directory to submit to, and that is ezinearticles.com.
Sure, it may seem like a great idea to submit to 400+ directories. I mean – even if you get one single visitor from 50% of these directories within 24 hours, that’s still 200 visitors a day from one submission, right?
Submit one article a day and you’re laughing all the way to the bank…
Well, I wish it was that simple, but alas – not quite.
Think about this for a second. How many directories out there do you personally know about? And how many of them do you see showing up in the search results from memory?
I’d hazard a guess that the number is very small.
You see, a large majority of these direcories are on the lower quality side, have been thrown together with quick script, and contain only plr or duplicate articles from other sites.
Put one of their domain names into compete.com – you’ll see what I mean … little to no traffic record.
Don’t take this the wrong way. I know you had your hopes up about mass article submission and all of its benefits, so don’t worry – there is one positive aspect.
BACKLINKS. That’s right. Use those resource boxes to get some nice backlinks pointing back to your site, using relevant anchortext as keywords, and depending on the competition, your page will begin to rank for that keyword in no time…
Here’s an even better idea.
Step #1: Submit one good article to EzineArticles.com, point the resource link back to your site.
Step #2: Send a rewritten version through a mass submission service or software and point those resourse box links to the EzineArticles.com article.
You’ll get much more favorable results by building backlinks to your EZA article then you would to your own domain, especially if it is relatively new.
So, when it comes to choosing the best article submission directories, there is only one to be honest.
The rest of them out there are only good for one thing … backlinks

Personally I’m a massive Eza fan for article submisison, backlink building and keyword research… but today I’ve been reading good things about someone who started using Articles Base and getting better results with that… worth a blast I guess.
Finally, I found the information I was searching for. I have been doing research on this subject, and for two days I keep finding web-sites that are supposed to have what I am searching for, only to be disappointed with the lack of what I needed. I wish I could have found your web-site sooner! I had about 40% of what I needed and your website has that, and the rest of what I needed to finish my research.
